Neglected Live Journal.

Hey there. Well I forgot all about my LJ account. I know Sinful of me.

Well I am happy to report that the FC Camping and Picnic went very well. It all started about a week ago when I had to actuallt buy camping gear. I went to Walmart and got a tent, sleeping bag, lantern, batteries, soda, wood, chair, & a few other little things.

Got out to the camp ground after some nightmarish logistics to fit all those furs in as few cars as possible. Friday night went smoothly, hung out with some folks around the camp fire and cooked some sausages.

Saturday was the picnic, it was beutiful in the morning before we all caravaned to the Picnic. Spent the day there and took more and more photos.

Went back to the camp ground fired up the fire again and Fox Palmer busted out the BBQ. I brought out the rest of the wood we had and fired up the fire pit. We made the rest of the sausages and hot dogs. Fox Palmer made a TON of super awesome turbo-yummy tri-tip that I could not get enough of. Then I had a little vodka twister thing, thank you Teddy Tiger, and Fox Palmer handed me some really awesome vodka. And time and time again, people kept handing me booz. Well wouldn't you know it, I got drunk. Then the fursuits came out and Ohhh I very much enjoyed their company.

But I started passing out around midnight. I made my way to the tent and went to bed. The next morning we picked up all our stuff and then packed up a ton of gasrbage from the picnic area and went home. That ws my last weekend. I would go into more detail, but I just don't feel like it.

- Kiteless

Going to the track.

Wow, well tomorrow a friend and I are going up to Thunderhill Race Way. He drives a modified Corvette and there are going to be a LOT of Lotus Eliese's there. I can not wait. I am going to spend some time as a passanger and some time on the side lines taking video and photos.

I guess that is about it. Not that I am updating my LJ every day, but as much as I would like to take my laptop along, I think I am going to leave it behind, because I do not think that there is going to be a safe place for it while I am away. So I will be off-line for the next 2 days.

I think I will post again on Thursday evening.

And so ends a wonderful weekend, now I am 27 years old!?

Dispite the fact that I got a small bout of food poisoning on Friday, It has been a good weekend.

It started on Thursday when I went to "Furry Coffee". There where already a lot of folks there. I showed up around 7pm. Helvetica, Jumell, Tessa and Diadexxus (sp?) where already there. Tessa said that she would work on a new 'con' badge for me with my new name Kiteless. I had loaned her a few of my older badges with my old (we dare not speak it's name) name on it. Dia got me 2 really awesome dragon statues, they are a fire and ice dragon set. I hope she did not pay to much for them. Helvetica got me a really cool dragon puzzle that I will eventually put together. I am gong to save it for a lazy weekend. Later on they handed me a card that looks like it had been passed around the room. It has several doodles in it and I loved them all. But one that stood out was by Jumell of Kiteless.. Well he was flying a kite. I tried to mingle as best I could and eventually Terraluna and the gang showed up fresh from University Chicken. They handed me a card as well, and Terraluna got me a really spiffy Barns & Noble gift card that had a really yummy looking dragon on it. I did not want to stay out to late and some how managed to pull away around 10pm.

Friday I called in sick from work, I was feeling super crappy and was making many trips to the bathroom MAKING super crapppy! I was worried it was the start of a 4 day bout with food poisioning, that I would not wish on even my worst enemy. I drank a LOT of water and managed to stabalize, then I had a light lunch with CyK9. We parted ways around 3pm and I was still feeking kinga bad so I took a nap. My first nap in too many years. I slept from about 4pm to 6pm. Then I did some web browsing and went to bed around 4AM some how.

Saturday was really cool. I went over to a friends house down in San Jose, and his birthday to me was that he would work on my car. I drive a 94 Subaru SVX. It is a really unique car. I helped where he asked me to. But we sweated buckes while we worked in his garage. Replaced one of the accessorie belts on the front of the engine. Installed the "shift kit" from www.smallcar.com to firm up the shifting that my automatic transmissions makes and also installed a HUGE 10"x20" tube & fin transmission fluid cooler. We where at it off and on (mostly on) from about 12noon to around 10pm at night. But it also happens to be his mates birthday the same day as mine. But he is fond of Sushi so we met him and a bunch of his friends at this sushi place and it was super yummy number 1 goodness!

Today Sunday I was going to go help out my friend Bill but things did nto work out. At abour 1:45 I showed up at "Furry Pancakes" down in San Jose. Terraluna, Super Jay, Miss Kitty, F.J., Ultra Gore, Tray, and Brigis where there. We ate alot! It was also hella super nummy power monkey balls good! Later that day I did turn in a couple salsa jars full of change, and after Coin Star took their cut I had $65 bucks! Woohoo. I spent like 40 of it on groceries and then went to Basken Robens for a strawberry icecream cone and felt better. I has some crap happen earlier in the day that put me in a bad mood. I came home and my roommate took me to this palce called Sweet Apple and bought me dinner.

My first post.

Well here I am. I have known about live journal for years and years, but this is the first time I have ever managed to make an account and actually post something. But I have been thinking alot about getting an account here as it seems like most of the people that I know have an account. I like the format of Live Journal. Because the community is based around feedback of posts, it looks a way to communicate with friends. I guess one of the things that have been keeping me away from Live Journal is that I worry I will post things here and then talk with somebody about something. They will be like, "Oh I already read your live journal post." Aaaaaaaaaaaand then I got nothing. This weekend I went to a Further Confusion staff meeting, a LAN Party in San Jose and then an improvisation workshop with some local furs and now I am back home and wobbly as I have had about 4 hours of sleep.
